Visitors can enjoy the two shady establishments, two campsites and a tourist village. This is also a disused railway track which has a project for a cycle track. There are no specific activities available at the beach. It is a flat sedimentary area with gentle hills behind it. The area has a scarce level of human activity, consisting mainly of isolated buildings of agricultural origin that are partly used as second homes. The river mouth has banks and weirs.

Nord Osento is a beach located in the province of Chieti, primarily consisting of pebbles. It is equipped with various facilities such as a first aid point run by the Italian Cross, in agreement with the local health authority, a municipal tourist information point, bathing establishments, campsites, a camper van area, paid municipal and private car parks, restaurants and bars, a pinewood, and public toilets. The beach is easily accessible through the Lungomare Le Morge coastal road. However, it is important to note that a seasonal ban on bathing is enforced in a section of the beach close to the Osento river. On the north side, there is a sandy beach located near the mouth of the river, which is surrounded by bathing establishments and also served by the coastal road Lungomare Le Morge.
