Sud Osento is a beach located in the province of Chieti. The sandy shore is initially pebbly near the mouth of the river, but gradually becomes sandy. This is a short stretch of residual dune vegetation and a former pinewood public park strip, which unfortunately was subject to fire on 23.07.2007. Access to the area is possible through the pedestrian road network in the former pinewood area and under the railway axes. Visitors can enjoy the two shady establishments, two campsites and a tourist village. This is also a disused railway track which has a project for a cycle track. There are no specific activities available at the beach. It is a flat sedimentary area with gentle hills behind it. The area has a scarce level of human activity, consisting mainly of isolated buildings of agricultural origin that are partly used as second homes. The river mouth has banks and weirs.
Nord Osento is a beach located in the province of Chieti, primarily consisting of pebbles. It is equipped with various facilities such as a first aid point run by the Italian Cross, in agreement with the local health authority, a municipal tourist information point, bathing establishments, campsites, a camper van area, paid municipal and private car parks, restaurants and bars, a pinewood, and public toilets. The beach is easily accessible through the Lungomare Le Morge coastal road. However, it is important to note that a seasonal ban on bathing is enforced in a section of the beach close to the Osento river. On the north side, there is a sandy beach located near the mouth of the river, which is surrounded by bathing establishments and also served by the coastal road Lungomare Le Morge.
Nord Acquachiara is a beach located in the province of Chieti. The northern section, at the mouth of the Acquachiara River, is mainly comprised of a gravel and shingle beach with a visible raised ridge and remaining dune vegetation. Moving towards the south side of the river, the beach predominantly consists of sand and has designated parking areas. The surrounding area is primarily a residential and tourist destination filled with hotels, restaurants, and car parks. Additionally, there are three hotel-restaurants - two located upstream of the railway - a summer camp, and three bathing establishments with both fixed refreshment facilities and shade options. Small-scale fishing activity frequently occurs with the option for stopovers and towing.
Nord Sinello, located in the Chieti province, is a beautiful beach that extends up to the railway embankment. The valley floor upstream of the railway embankment is flat. One can also engage in various activities such as stopping and hauling out small fishing and tourist boats at Foce Sinello. The surrounding area has several accommodation facilities and built-up areas that cater to tourists interested in bathing and other outdoor activities.
Le Morgie is a pebbly beach located in the province of Chieti. Unfortunately, there are no operational infrastructure or services available at the beach. However, the Municipality of Torino di Sangro is currently reconstructing a Trabocco nearby. The nearest services to this area can be found south at Le Morgie. This is a free beach encompassed by natural vegetation and a few scattered private houses. The main road services the area.
Sud Sinello is a beach situated in the province of Chieti, however, the collection point is positioned on a pebble beach at Obbl. Unfortunately, there are no amenities available in the vicinity. The only possible activity is bathing in the water. The sampling point happens to be approximately 3 km away from the beach area.
Dragoni is a beach located in the province of Chieti that is heavily affected by meteorological erosion, with mostly rocky coastline and occasional small pebble beaches. The surrounding area showcases natural vegetation, including the former disused railway line Pescara-Foggia, which is presently being developed to construct the 'Via Verde della costa teatina'. The area is accessible via the Strada Statale 16 - Adriatica, and offers several bathing establishments.
Fosso Paurosa is a beach situated in the province of Chieti. On the pebble beach area, there is a waste collection point. During the bathing season, only the waste water collection service operates on the beach. Additionally, in the surrounding vicinity, there is a wastewater discharge from a purification plant serving the Casa Circondariale. This discharge enters into the ditch located in the overhanging Torre Sinello locality, which is known to be ominous.
Stazione Fs is a pebbly beach located in the province of Chieti. It can be accessed via the coastal road, Viale Costa Verde.
