The beach itself is relatively small compared to the rest of the development located near regional and provincial roads, with only two beaches available - one in Villalago and the other in Scanno. Urban settlements and summer tourism accommodations surround the area. The perimeter of Lake Scanno is owned by the municipalities of Villalago and Scanno.
